Kate Thompson published seven standalone novels between 2001 and 2006, all set in and around Dublin. Going Down (2001) was her first standalone after the Deirdre O’Dare books, followed by The Blue Hour (2002), which earned a nomination for the Parker Romantic Novel of the Year. A Perfect Life (2003), Striking Poses (2003), Living The Dream (2004), Sex, Lies And Fairytales (2005), and Hard To Choos (2006) continued her run of popular romantic fiction.
The novels share Thompson’s characteristic humor and Dublin setting, with heroines sorting through love, career, and the expectations placed on them by family and society.
