The Justice/Mort Grant series is T.E. Woods’ longest work, spanning six books from The Fixer in 2012 to Dead End Fix in 2016. The series alternates between the perspectives of a vigilante known as the Fixer and detective Mort Grant, creating a narrative tension between two very different approaches to justice.
Each book builds on the ethical questions raised by the series premise: when the legal system fails, is extralegal justice justified? Woods does not provide easy answers, instead using the dual perspective to let readers see both sides of the argument. The series grew more complex with each installment, culminating in Dead End Fix.
