Junji Ito’s collections gather his shorter horror manga from across his career. Tomie: Complete Deluxe Edition collects his debut series about an immortal girl. Flesh-Colored Horror (1990) was one of the earliest English-language collections of his work. Shiver (2015) and Smashed (2013) collect some of his most celebrated individual stories, while Venus in the Blind Spot (2020) brings together more recent short works.
Other collections include Frankenstein (1999), Ito’s adaptation of Mary Shelley’s novel; Lovesickness (2011), about a fortune teller who predicts only death; and Deserter (2011). The Art of Junji Ito (2019) is an art book rather than a story collection, showing the craftsmanship behind his famous illustrations.
