Judge Anderson: The PSI Files is a collected edition series reprinting the comic strips featuring Cassandra Anderson, published across twelve volumes between 1991 and 2016. Anderson is a Psi-Judge in Mega-City One, a future megalopolis policed by Judges who act as law enforcement, judge, and executioner in one. Her psychic abilities set her apart from regular Judges and make her a key figure in cases involving supernatural or psychic threats.
The strips collected in the PSI Files volumes were originally published in 2000 AD and Judge Anderson’s own title over several decades. The character was created by John Wagner and Brian Bolland and has been written by numerous authors over the years. She was portrayed by Olivia Thirlby in the 2012 film Dredd.
Reading the volumes in publication order gives the best coverage of Anderson’s history within the 2000 AD universe. The series is part of the broader Judge Dredd comics continuity and connects to many major storylines across that world. All twelve volumes are listed in the reading order table below.
