Jolie Wilkins is one of H.P. Mallory’s original series, beginning in 2010 with Fire Burn and Cauldron Bubble. Jolie is a witch who finds herself at the center of a supernatural world populated by vampires, werewolves, fairies, and other creatures, and her ability to reanimate the dead makes her valuable to just about everyone with a stake in the balance of power. The early books, published through 2012, established the world and Jolie’s place in it alongside a cast of memorable supernatural characters.
After a decade away from the series, Mallory brought Jolie back in 2022 with a run of six new books, each with witchy puns in the title – Boss Witch, Rags To Witches, Witch and Famous. The returning installments pick up Jolie’s story and give longtime fans more time with the characters they followed in the original run, while the pun-heavy titles signal a slightly lighter tone in the newer entries.
