Jen Wang’s graphic novels span a range of styles and audiences. Koko Be Good (2010) was her debut, followed by In Real Life (2014), a collaboration with Cory Doctorow about online gaming and labor. The Prince and the Dressmaker (2018) became her biggest success, telling a story about gender expression and friendship set in historical Paris.
Stargazing (2019) moved to a younger audience, following two girls whose friendship develops despite their different backgrounds. Wang’s art style and storytelling have earned her recognition in the graphic novel world.
