Jean Rabe has been involved with over thirty anthologies as an editor, co-editor, or contributor. Her anthology work spans a wide range of subgenres, from traditional fantasy collections like Swordplay (2009) and Mountain Magic (2010) to steampunk volumes like Steampunk’d (2010) and Hot and Steamy (2011).
She has also edited or contributed to anthologies with more unusual themes, including Catopolis (2008), which features stories about cat cities, and Furry Fantastic (2006). Her work with the Forgotten Realms anthologies like Realms of Valor and Realms of Magic brought her into one of the most popular fantasy shared worlds. These collections show the breadth of Rabe’s interests and her connections throughout the genre fiction community.
