James Morcan’s nonfiction output sits alongside his larger Underground Knowledge series but also includes standalone titles. The Orphan Conspiracies (2014) grew directly out of the Orphan Trilogy fiction series. It takes the real-world conspiracy theories that appear in those novels and examines them one by one, covering 29 separate topics from secret societies to suppressed science.
Debunking Holocaust Denial Theories (2016) is a different kind of project. Co-written with Lance Morcan, the book responds point by point to common claims made by Holocaust deniers, using documented evidence and survivor testimony. It reflects the Morcans’ interest in hidden or suppressed information, a thread that runs through much of their work, both fiction and nonfiction.
