Jack Williamson’s individual short stories and novellas range from his earliest pulp-era work to pieces published posthumously. The Doom from Planet 4 (1931) and The Pygmy Planet (1932) are examples of his early magazine fiction, while The Ultimate Earth (2000) won the Hugo Award for Best Novella when Williamson was 92 years old.
The Cosmic Express (2016) and Salvage in Space (2018) are reprints of early tales that have been made available to modern readers. These individual publications complement the Collected Stories volumes and show the full range of Williamson’s shorter fiction.
