The main Jack Reacher series spans thirty novels from Killing Floor (1997) to Exit Strategy (2025). Lee Child created the character and wrote the first twenty-four books solo, establishing Reacher as one of the most recognizable figures in modern thriller fiction. The books follow a former US Army MP major who wanders America with no possessions, stumbling into situations that require his skills.
Starting with The Sentinel (2020), Lee Child’s brother Andrew Child joined as co-author. The collaboration has continued through recent entries like No Plan B (2022), The Secret (2023), and In Too Deep (2024). The series maintains its core appeal: a self-contained hero who walks into trouble, figures out what is wrong, and fixes it with a combination of sharp thinking and physical force.
