The Interventions series is an academic imprint from Routledge that publishes scholarly monographs and edited volumes on international relations, political theory, and related fields. The series began in 2009 and has grown to include over 130 volumes. Each book is written or edited by different academics, and the topics range from postcolonial theory and biopolitics to migration studies, gender in international relations, and the philosophy of political violence.
This is not a fiction series. The books are aimed at researchers, graduate students, and specialists in political science and international studies. Titles like Critical Theorists and International Relations, Foucault and International Relations, and Global Powers of Horror give a sense of the theoretical and analytical orientation of the series. Cathy Elliott is credited as an editor or contributor in the series catalog, though the individual volumes are authored by a wide range of scholars from universities around the world.
