The Home series opens with The White Peacock, a short story that sets up the central premise: six friends made an agreement to die before turning 30, and none of them can remember why. Each subsequent novel follows one of those friends as they navigate their ordinary lives while that forgotten promise pulls at them.
Just Live Juliette! introduces Juliette, who wakes to find the familiar world around her subtly wrong. She meets Miles, and the romance that develops between them is tangled up with questions about fate and what it means to actually live rather than simply wait. The series has an old-school paranormal romance sensibility, with supernatural elements that exist to ask questions about choice, destiny, and love rather than to drive action-heavy plots.
Rocks Don’t Cry, Rhapsody in Red, and Always and Evermore each carry the story forward through a different friend’s perspective, building toward a collective resolution. Stephanie Andrassy published the series between 2013 and 2016, and a boxed set edition is also available for readers who want to work through the full sequence.
