Holly Danger is Amanda Carlson’s six-book science fiction series. Starting with Danger’s Halo (2017), each book uses Holly’s surname in the title — Danger’s Vice, Danger’s Race, Danger’s Cure, Danger’s Hunt, and Danger’s Fate (2019) — as she navigates a dangerous futuristic world.
The first three books came out in rapid succession in 2017, with Danger’s Halo, Danger’s Vice, and Danger’s Race establishing the world and Holly’s role in it. Danger’s Cure and Danger’s Hunt followed in 2018, building toward the conclusion. Danger’s Fate (2019) closes the series.
Carlson is also known for her Jessica McClain urban fantasy series, and the Holly Danger books represent her move into science fiction. The series leans more into sci-fi action than the paranormal elements of her other work. Reading in publication order is important here, as each book picks up directly where the previous one ended.
