Highland Trouble is Amanda Forester’s three-book Scottish romance series. The Highlander’s Bride (2015), The Highlander’s Noel (2015), and My Highland Rebel (2017) pair Highland heroes with women who bring trouble — and love — into their lives.
The Highlander’s Bride opens the series with clan politics and an arranged match. The Highlander’s Noel adds a holiday setting to the Highland romance formula, making it a seasonal read within the series. My Highland Rebel closes the trilogy two years later with a heroine who refuses to follow the rules.
Forester also wrote the earlier Highlander series starting with The Highlander’s Sword (2010), and the Highland Trouble books share that same medieval Scottish world. Readers familiar with the Highlander series will find similar clan dynamics here, though Highland Trouble works fine on its own.
