Claudia Bishop’s Hemlock Falls Mysteries is a long-running mystery series with nineteen books published between 1994 and 2013. Nearly every title includes a food or cooking reference: A Taste for Murder, A Dash of Death, A Pinch of Poison, Murder Well-Done, A Steak in Murder, and many more. This food-themed wordplay runs through the entire series, right up to the final entry, A Fete Worse Than Death.
Bishop published steadily across two decades, with the busiest stretch from the mid-1990s through the mid-2000s.
