The Heart Hassle series was Raven Kennedy’s debut, beginning with Signs of Cupidity in 2018. The series follows Emelle, a cupid who is remarkably bad at her job, leading to all kinds of romantic mishaps and comedic situations in a fantasy setting.
The five books have a lighter tone than Kennedy’s later Plated Prisoner series, leaning into humor and the absurdity of a lovesick cupid who can’t seem to get anything right. The series features a reverse harem romance and shows the playful side of Kennedy’s writing.
