The Harmony Black series is a spinoff of the Daniel Faust books, following FBI Special Agent Harmony Black and her team as they investigate supernatural crimes across the United States. Where Daniel Faust operates in the criminal underworld, Harmony works on the side of law enforcement, though the line between good and evil blurs frequently in Schaefer’s universe.
Starting in 2016 and running eight books through 2024, the series combines federal procedural elements with dark urban fantasy. Harmony and her team deal with demonic cults, rogue sorcerers, and threats that cross over from the Faust series.
