Greta Thunberg’s books span personal memoir and climate science. Our House Is on Fire (2018) tells her family’s story and how she became an activist. No One Is Too Small to Make a Difference (2019) collects her speeches from around the world. The Climate Book (2022) brings together over 100 experts to present the full picture of the climate crisis and potential solutions.
Our House Is on Fire was written with her parents and provides background on her family’s shift toward environmental awareness. No One Is Too Small to Make a Difference gathers the speeches she delivered at the United Nations, the European Parliament, and climate strikes, making them accessible in a single slim volume. I Know This to Be True (2020) is a more personal book in an interview-style format.
The Climate Book is the most ambitious of the four. Rather than writing it alone, Thunberg assembled contributions from scientists, economists, and writers, then organized them into a comprehensive overview of the climate situation. At over 400 pages, it is far longer and more detailed than her earlier books.
