The Grafton County series by Sue Coletta is a set of crime thrillers set in the rural communities of New Hampshire. The books follow investigators as they deal with violent crimes that disrupt the outwardly quiet life of the area.
Marred (2015) is the first book and establishes the setting and central characters. Cleaved (2017), Scathed (2018), and Racked (2019) continue the story with increasingly dark cases. The series is best read in order, as character relationships and consequences carry forward between books.
