Gene Kerrigan’s four crime novels are set in Dublin and draw on his decades of experience as a journalist covering the city. Little Criminals (2005) was his fiction debut, followed by The Midnight Choir (2006), Dark Times in the City (2009), and The Rage (2011).
The Rage won the 2012 Gold Dagger, the Crime Writers’ Association’s top prize. Kerrigan’s fiction explores the lives of ordinary people caught up in Dublin’s criminal world, written with the sharp eye of a journalist who knows the city well.
