G. Benson has published six standalone novels between 2016 and 2023, each featuring lesbian protagonists in different romantic and dramatic situations. Flinging It (2016) is a workplace romance set in a hospital, Who’d Have Thought (2018) uses a fake-dating arrangement as its central conceit, and Pieces (2017) tackles more emotionally difficult territory involving trauma and recovery.
Her more recent novels show expanding range. The Thing About Tilly (2020) and Purposefully Accidental (2023) continue in the contemporary romance space, while Dead Lez Walking (2021) takes a sharp turn into zombie comedy. That genre-bending entry demonstrates Benson’s willingness to experiment while keeping her focus on sapphic characters and relationships. Each novel stands completely on its own.
