The Flesh and Fire series is the companion series to Blood and Ash, set in the same world but in an earlier era. A Shadow in the Ember (2021) introduces Sera, who was born with one purpose: to kill the Primal of Death. When she finally meets him, nothing goes as planned.
A Light in the Flame (2022) and A Fire in the Flesh (2023) continue the romance and the mythology. Born of Blood and Ash (2024) and A Crown of Ruin (2025) connect the Flesh and Fire storyline directly to the events of the Blood and Ash series. The two series share a world and can be read in publication order or by timeline.
