The Five Nights at Freddy’s novel series began with The Silver Eyes in 2016, telling the story of a group of friends who return to the abandoned Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza restaurant and discover its horrifying secrets. The Twisted Ones (2017) and The Fourth Closet (2018) continued the story, building on the lore from the popular video game series.
The series also includes The Security Breach Files (2022) and the official movie novelization from 2023. A second movie novel is scheduled for 2026. These books expand the FNAF universe beyond the games, giving fans detailed stories that flesh out the mythology of the haunted animatronics.
