The Extinction Point series by Paul Antony Jones begins when a strange red rain falls across the globe, killing billions of people within hours. Emily Baxter, a journalist in New York City, is one of the few survivors. She quickly realizes that the dead are not simply gone. Their bodies are being changed into something alien, and the world itself is being reshaped.
Starting with Extinction Point in 2012, the series follows Emily as she makes her way north toward other survivors. Each book raises the stakes as the true nature and scale of the alien invasion becomes clearer. The series includes a companion novella, Thor’s Tale, which tells the story from the perspective of a malamute dog. The saga wraps up with Kings in 2017, bringing the six-book series to a close.
