The Elemental Love series is set in Freya Grove, a fictional town in New Jersey where the Caraway family — a family of Black witches — live, work, and practice magic. Each book is a standalone romance with a different Caraway woman as the lead, though characters from earlier books appear in supporting roles.
In Witchful Thinking (2022), Lucy Caraway makes a wish that brings her childhood sweetheart Alex back into her life. He happens to be a merman. Kiss and Spell (2023) pairs Ursula Caraway with Xavier, a fae prince who needs the right kiss to break a curse. Deja Brew (2024) follows Sirena, a kitchen witch, and Gus, the town’s historian and magician.
