Willow Rose’s Daughters of the Jaguar is a two-book series. Savage (2012) and Broken (2012) tell a story that blends supernatural elements with an ancient jaguar legend.
Both books were published in 2012, making this one of Rose’s earlier works. Savage sets up the mythology, drawing on Central American folklore about jaguar spirits and the women connected to them. Broken continues the story and resolves the supernatural conflict introduced in the first book.
Rose went on to write dozens of thriller and mystery novels after this duology, including the popular Mary Mills and Eva Rae Thomas series. Daughters of the Jaguar represents a more supernatural phase of her career, before she settled into the crime fiction she is best known for today.
