Daughter of the Pirate King launched Tricia Levenseller’s career when it published in 2017. The series follows Alosa, a pirate princess who deliberately gets captured by a rival crew as part of her father’s plan to recover a powerful treasure map. The first two books, Daughter of the Pirate King and Daughter of the Siren Queen (2018), tell Alosa’s story, while Vengeance of the Pirate Queen (2023) follows a companion character on her own adventure.
