The Daughter of Ravens trilogy picks up where the Four Arts series left off, moving to new regions of M.J. Scott’s fantasy kingdom of Anglion. The Exile’s Curse (2021) follows Chloe, a character introduced in the earlier series, as she embarks on her own story of political danger and reluctant romance.
Across three books, the trilogy explores themes of exile, betrayal, and second chances. Old friends become enemies, inconvenient marriages create unexpected alliances, and the political intrigues of the Anglion empire drive the plot forward. Scott maintains the same blend of court intrigue and romantic tension that defined the Four Arts, while giving the Daughter of Ravens its own identity. All three books were self-published between 2021 and 2023, with an omnibus edition released in 2024.
