Dark Hearts is Molly Fader’s darker romance series. Stolen Hearts (2021), Broken (2021), Untamed (2021), and Dark Hearts (2022) feature more intense emotional stakes and grittier themes than her lighter romance work.
Three of the four books came out in 2021, with the final installment following in 2022. Stolen Hearts sets the tone for the series, establishing a world where the romances carry real consequences. Broken and Untamed continue in that vein, each centering on a different couple.
The fourth book, titled Dark Hearts like the series itself, wraps things up. Readers familiar with Fader’s other work, including her women’s fiction published under other pen names, will notice a sharper edge here. The series is best read in order since the characters’ stories overlap.
