Four anthology and collaborative entries round out Dennett’s bibliography. A Glorious Accident (1993) originated as a documentary conversation series bringing Dennett together with figures including Stephen Jay Gould and Freeman Dyson. Richard Dawkins: How a Scientist Changed the Way We Think (2006) is a Festschrift marking Dawkins’s influence, to which Dennett contributed. Mind and Consciousness: 5 Questions (2009) and This Explains Everything (2013) are edited collections gathering short contributions from multiple thinkers, with Dennett appearing as both editor and contributor.
These collaborative works show Dennett as a central figure in public intellectual discourse around science and philosophy during the decades when those conversations were reaching their widest popular audiences.
