Dallas Fire and Rescue is Siera London’s longest series with 18 books published between 2016 and 2021. The series is set in and around a Dallas fire station, following firefighters, paramedics, and other first responders as they find love between emergency calls. Magnolia Flames (2016) launches the series, and the books build an expanding cast of characters connected through their work.
The series includes several sub-groupings, with the Fiery Fairy Tales books (Commanding Heat, Chasing Flames, Concealing Fire) adding fairy tale elements to the firefighter setting. Holiday entries and stories featuring different station members keep the series varied. London writes the firefighting backdrop with attention to the camaraderie and pressure of the job, using it as a natural source of conflict and chemistry for her romantic storylines.
