The Cowboy SEALs series by Laura Marie Altom runs nine books from SEAL’s Miracle Baby (2015) through The Colorado Cowboy’s Triplets (2019). As the name suggests, every hero in this series is both a Navy SEAL and a cowboy, usually a former special operator who has returned to ranch life. The babies come fast, too. Nearly every title includes “baby” or “daddy” somewhere in the name, and new parenthood drives much of the conflict.
Altom published these books through the Harlequin Western Romance and Harlequin American Romance imprints. Early entries like The Baby and the Cowboy SEAL (2016) and The Cowboy SEAL’s Jingle Bell Baby (2016) established the template: a tough military man softened by an unexpected child and a strong-willed woman. The later Colorado-set books, including Colorado Cowboy SEAL (2019) and its companion Home on the Ranch: Colorado Cowboy SEAL (2019), moved the action to a specific ranch setting. The series is a good starting point for readers who want both the military and western sides of Altom’s writing in one package.
