The Cottage By The Sea series by Rebecca Alexander is a women’s fiction series set around a seaside cottage. The first book, Secrets of the Cottage by the Sea (also published as The Island of Lost Secrets), came out in 2022 and was followed by three more books in 2023.
The books combine present-day storylines with historical secrets tied to the cottage and its island setting. Alexander uses the coastal location as more than just scenery; the landscape and history of the place are woven into the plot of each book.
