The Coruscant series is F.X. Holden’s science fiction work. Deep Core (2019) introduces the setting, with Core Drift (2021) and Core Melt (2022) continuing the story.
Holden is better known for military thrillers, and the Coruscant books bring some of that same tension to a science fiction framework. The “Core” naming pattern across all three titles ties the trilogy together, and the stories build on each other as the situation escalates from book to book.
The series should be read in order starting with Deep Core, since each sequel picks up plot threads from the previous entry. At three books, it is a contained sci-fi trilogy that does not require committing to a longer series.
