The Chocolate Shop Mysteries is Morgana Best’s newest series, launched in 2025. It follows Narel Myers as she returns to the small Australian town of Brambly Vale to open a chocolate shop and start a new chapter of her life. Murder has other plans, of course, and Narel keeps getting pulled into local investigations.
The series shares its protagonist with the earlier Cocoa Narel Chocolate Shop books, but the 2025 entries have been extensively rewritten with new titles and updated storylines. Chocolate, Lies, and Alibis kicks things off, followed by Fondant, Fudge, and Fatalities, with the alliterative naming pattern setting the tone for a lighthearted whodunit.
