The Carolyn Blue Culinary Mysteries follow a food writer turned amateur detective. Carolyn Blue started as a homemaker who gave up cooking and cleaning to pursue a career as a food columnist. Her travels with her husband Jason to cities and countries around the world lead her into murder cases at every stop.
The 12-book series ran from 2001 to 2009, with titles that play on food terminology: Crime Brulee, Truffled Feathers, Death A L’Orange, Chocolate Quake, and others. Each book features a different culinary destination and includes recipes alongside the mystery plot.
