Brandilyn Collins’s standalone novels span a decade of fiction, from Dark Pursuit in 2008 through to Plummet in 2017. The ten titles are independent of one another, so readers can pick them up in any order based on whichever title appeals most. The output was fairly steady through the early years — one book per year from 2008 to 2014 — before Vain Empires and Plummet rounded out the collection in 2016 and 2017.
Several titles carry a strong sense of tension in their names alone: Deceit, Over the Edge, Gone to Ground, Dark Justice. Double Blind and Sidetracked continue that thread, while Vain Empires and Plummet offer a slightly different register for the later entries. Each stands alone, so there’s no wrong place to start.
