The Black Library Advent Calendar 2014 was a digital publishing initiative in which Black Library released one short story or novella per day throughout December 2014. The 30 entries span both the Warhammer Fantasy Battles and Warhammer 40,000 settings, with contributions from multiple established Black Library authors.

Dan Abnett contributed to the calendar, as did many other regular Black Library writers. The stories range from brief standalone tales to short works set within ongoing series continuities. Titles include The Final Compliance of Sixty-Three Fourteen, Cold Roads, Wraithflight, and Stratagem, among others, covering Space Marines, Chaos forces, and other factions across the Warhammer universes.

The Advent Calendar format was an established annual tradition for Black Library, with new calendars released in subsequent years. The 2014 calendar remains available digitally and as print-on-demand, though individual stories are the primary format. The collection is best approached by readers already invested in one or both of the Warhammer settings rather than as an introduction to the fictional worlds.
