The Biscuit Bowl Food Truck Mystery series begins with Death on Eat Street (2014) and follows Zoe Chase, a chef who trades her restaurant career for a food truck in Mobile, Alabama. Unfortunately for Zoe, murder follows her around, and she ends up investigating crimes while serving biscuit bowls to her customers.
The four-book series runs through Fat Tuesday Fricassee (2015), with stops at a Gator Bowl event and Fry Another Day along the way. The books combine Mobile’s food culture and Southern atmosphere with the Lavenes’ signature cozy mystery approach.
