Big Girls Book Club is a three-book series by Carl Weber that centers on a group of plus-size women and their romantic lives. Something on the Side (2008) introduces the characters and their struggles with love and loyalty. Big Girls Do Cry (2010) and Torn Between Two Lovers (2010) continue the story as the women deal with infidelity, heartbreak, and the bonds of friendship.
The series celebrates women who do not fit Hollywood beauty standards while telling honest stories about the complications of real relationships. It was popular enough to inspire the Full Figured anthology series that Weber later edited.
