Bang Shift is Mandy Harbin’s longest-running series, published between 2012 and 2022. Set around an auto-mechanic shop, each book focuses on a different mechanic or crew member who gets pulled into both romance and danger. The series started with Brody and grew to include characters like Hunter, Blade, Shelby, and Axle, each named after the hero at the center of that book’s story.
The shop itself acts as the hub that ties everything together. Characters from earlier books pop up in later ones, and the bonds between the crew members deepen over the course of the series. The combination of hands-on mechanical work, protective alpha heroes, and suspense elements gives the series a grittier feel than typical contemporary romance. Bear, the tenth and final book released in 2022, brought the decade-long series to a close.
