The Assassin’s Creed novel series spans eleven books from 2009 to 2017, beginning with Renaissance and ending with Desert Oath. The titles range across different historical periods and settings — Renaissance and Brotherhood are followed by The Secret Crusade and Revelations, while later entries such as Black Flag (2013) and Blackbeard: The Lost Journal (2014) shift to the age of piracy before Unity and Underworld move the action to nineteenth-century London and Paris.
The series released steadily through the 2010s, with two entries in both 2011 and 2014. Heresy (2016) and Desert Oath (2017) round out the run. Readers new to the novels can start with Renaissance and follow publication order through to the end of the series.
