The Sandman is Neil Gaiman’s landmark comic series published by DC Comics under the Vertigo imprint. Running from 1989 to 1996 with subsequent additions, the series follows Morpheus, Lord of Dreams, one of the seven Endless who embody universal concepts.
The main series consists of ten volumes telling a complete story arc. Additional works include The Dream Hunters, Endless Nights, and the prequel Overture. The series has been collected in numerous formats including trade paperbacks, Absolute editions, and omnibus collections. A Netflix adaptation brought the story to television in 2022.
