Alton Gansky’s standalone novels show the range of his interests within Christian fiction. His debut, By My Hands (1996), tells the story of a man who discovers he can heal others. Through My Eyes (1997) and Distant Memory (2000) continued in a similar vein, mixing supernatural elements with suspense.
Later books branched out further. Certain Jeopardy (2009) and Blaze of Glory (2010) are military thrillers. Digital Winter (2012) imagines a technology collapse. Zero-G (2007) moves into science fiction territory. Throughout his standalone work, Gansky returns to questions of faith under pressure, putting ordinary people in extraordinary circumstances and watching how they respond.
