The Aliens novel series extends the universe of the Alien film franchise across dozens of books by various authors. The line began in the late 1980s with adaptations of the Dark Horse Comics storylines and grew to include original stories set across different time periods and locations in the Alien universe. S.D. Perry contributed several entries, and her father Steve Perry also wrote for the series. Note that some entries in the list above are omnibus editions or reprints that collect previously published novels.
Because this is a multi-author franchise, the books vary in tone and continuity. Some follow directly from the films, while others tell standalone stories that happen to share the same universe. Readers new to the line can start with the early trilogy (Earth Hive, Nightmare Asylum, The Female War) or jump to any standalone entry that interests them.
