Alicia Elliott has contributed to several anthologies. This Place: 150 Years Retold (2019) is a graphic novel anthology by Indigenous creators reimagining 150 years of Canadian history. She also appears in Whatever Gets You Through (2019) and Peach Pit: Sixteen Stories of Unsavory Women (2023).
Whatever Gets You Through collects personal essays on surviving trauma, with contributions from writers across genres. This Place uses the graphic novel format to tell stories about Indigenous experiences in Canada from Confederation through the present day, with different artist-writer teams for each chapter. Peach Pit gathers fiction about women who refuse to be polite or pleasant.
Elliott is a Tuscarora writer from Six Nations of the Grand River, and her anthology work reflects her interest in Indigenous storytelling and women’s experiences. These collections show a different side of her writing from her solo books, placing her voice alongside other authors working on related themes.
