Alice Loweecey has contributed to several anthologies alongside her Giulia Driscoll mystery novels. In 2014, she appeared in both Writes of Passage and Bake, Love, Write, the latter being a collection that pairs mystery authors’ essays with recipes. We’d Rather Be Writing (2015) continued in a similar vein, with contributions from working fiction authors about the craft and daily realities of writing.
Her most recent anthology appearance, in Occult Detective Magazine Mythos Special #2 (2024), marks a departure from the cozy mystery world. The decade gap between this contribution and her earlier anthology work suggests a writer who takes on projects selectively, returning to short-form collaboration when the right opportunity comes along.
