When the protagonist dies unexpectedly, she does not pass on quietly. Instead she finds herself enrolled in the Academy for Reapers, a school that turns out to have all the social dynamics of high school with mean girls, punishing homework, and a group of elite male reapers called the Untouchables who make it clear newcomers are not welcome. When she gets partnered with the coldest one, the tension between them is hard to ignore.
Running beneath the school drama is something much bigger: a war between Heaven and Hell, and the protagonist is somehow positioned at the center of it. The series uses the academy setting to build out the supernatural hierarchy and mythology while keeping the focus on character dynamics and slow-building romance.
Co-written with Piper Fox, the series spans four books published between 2021 and 2022. Unlike most of Guida’s other series, this one is not reverse harem and follows a single romance alongside the escalating supernatural conflict.
