Jack Lamburt is a former military operative who has decided that waiting for the justice system is not always an option. When criminals slip through the cracks or powerful people abuse their positions, Jack steps in. He has the training, the skills, and the willingness to operate outside the law when he believes the situation demands it.
John Etzil introduced Jack in Airliner Down (2017), which throws him into a hijacking scenario. The subsequent books in the series carry “Justice” in their titles, from First Justice through Foreign Justice, each sending Jack after a different set of adversaries. He is not a complicated character by design. He sees a problem, he assesses the threat, and he acts.
The series keeps its focus on action and forward motion. Jack does not spend much time agonizing over moral questions. He has a code, and he follows it. The books are short and plot-driven, built for readers who want their thrillers delivered without padding.
