The Tai Randolph & Trey Seaver Mystery series is written by Tina Whittle and follows an unlikely pair of amateur sleuths based in Atlanta, Georgia. Tai runs a gun shop she inherited from her uncle, while Trey is a former SWAT officer turned corporate security agent who suffered a brain injury that left him with an almost robotic approach to rules and honesty.
The series began with The Dangerous Edge of Things in 2010 and has grown to fifteen books. Each novel mixes Southern atmosphere with sharp dialogue and a slow-burning romance between the two leads. The mysteries range from art theft to murder, usually pulling Tai into situations where her stubbornness and Trey’s analytical mind make them a surprisingly effective team.
